Less than a month now!

24 days to go and pretty much everything is ready! ...or so we think... Who knows what surprises will pop up over the next three weeks? But as far as we know, the rehearsal place is bringing in a Wii, the church knows we are coming, my dress is equipped with accessories, the tuxes are ordered, the DJ is prepared with song lists, the cake will be delicious and the Qwest Center is ready for a party! What could we possibly be missing?! Oh yeah, guests! We are still looking for a few RSVPs. If you have yours, please send it in by Sept. 30th so we can get your food ordered. :-)

And in the meantime, we have been trying to get the house in order so we can show it off to all our loved ones on our big weekend! Below is my favorite before and after pictures of what we have done to the new house. As you can tell, wallpaper is out and all new paint is in! We have painted the entirety of the inside of the house as well as stained the deck - with a little help from my parents. (Always appreciated!) THEN, we changed every light switch, outlet, plate and light fixture in the entire house! And by we, I mean Robb. He did it all and it is a beautiful change! (Thanks again!) So now all it needs is some furniture and wall decor. Luckily, we were able to register for some of this furniture and wall decor! We have pieces at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond and JCPenneys. So the house may look a little bare during the wedding weekend, but we have very high hopes for the final product. Besides, that will just force all of you to come back and visit!

San Diego or Bust!

We've Chosen our Honeymoon Destination!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the honeymoon poll! We took everyone's vote into account, as well as our own preferences, weather, activities and price. And the winner is...SAN DIEGO!

We are both really excited! We'll be staying in downtown San Diego for 8 days and 7 nights. We're going to see the Chargers on Monday Night Football against the Broncos (LIGHTS OUT!), make a trip up to L.A. for a chance to make it on The Price is Right, relax for a few days on the beach and at the vineyard; visit the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, catch a Broadway play and/or maybe a concert - and of course - shopping will be involved!

If anyone has any suggestions of what we MUST see or do while in San Diego, send them our way! Neither of us have ever been.

And don't forget to vote on our new poll: "Who's speech are you most excited for at the reception?"

Love,
Laura and Andrew

6 Months, 2 Weeks

Sorry for the delay between posts, but nothing too exciting has developed over the last few weeks. We've confirmed a DJ and a location for our rehearsal dinner. We also started to do some cake testing. Next on our list: finding a videographer. So, if you have any leads for us, let us know.

And really, that about covers it...

Are there any specific questions you'd like answered or details you'd like us to post?

Take care and keep in touch!

Love,
Laura and Andrew
